  Story   About Isha Vidhya

My request:

I've started an initiative to raise funds for the poor children across rural villages in India. Isha Vidhya, a social service project under the aegis of non-profit Isha Foundation has been providing free high-quality education to rural children. I have been sponsoring 4 children through Isha Vidhya and with this campaign I hope to raise funds to purchase computers for the school. Please join me by lending your hand to bring quality education to the down trodden.

Sincerely

Kishore Sirivelu, Bhavana, Manu and Maya

Today, there are more than 770 million illiterate people in the world, over 300 million children who are not enrolled in school. Ninety-eight percent of these children live in developing countries, where extreme poverty prevents them from gaining an education.

I have always wanted to do at least a little in helping make Education accessible to those children who cannot afford it. "Isha Vidhya" has been committed to this goal. Help me raise funds for this initiative. Donate to this cause using the 'Donate' link on this page.

You will see just how much joy and hope and lasting change your scholarship gift will bring to a child or family living in poverty.

No donation is too small (or too big!) to participate. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Donations are Tax deductible under 501(c)(3)
