Financial Donation

Scholarship for one child

AMOUNT: Rs. 7000 / $180 / 95 GBP per year
HOW IT WORKS: Scholarship includes tuition, study materials, books and a daily nutritional health supplement. Isha Vidhya requests that donors sponsor a child for all 12 school years, from Class 1 to Class 12. Donors will receive photos and regular updates of their sponsored children so they can participate in their progress. Scholarship checks can be made for all the 12 years or on a year-on-year basis.

Infrastructure

AMOUNT: Rs. 40,000 / $1000 / 550 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation covers infrastructure costs for classrooms, office space, libraries, Sports facilities, toilets, etc. Opportunities also exist to sponsor an entire school.

Transportation

AMOUNT: Rs. 3000 / $80 / 40 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation provides van and bus facilities for students for an entire year.

Educational materials

AMOUNT: Rs. 500 / $15 / 7 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation provides for educational aids, teacher training, textbooks, notebooks and stationery.

Library Books

AMOUNT: Rs. 500 / $15 / 7 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: DDonation goes towards the purchase of library books. Isha Vidhya plans to set up a comprehensive library in each of the schools with an initial outlay of at least 3000 books.

Computer equipment

AMOUNT: Rs. 30000 / $800 / 400 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation covers costs of one computer with UPS and multimedia facilities. Isha Vidhya plans to provide at least 12 computers per school.

Uniform

AMOUNT: Rs. 750 / $20 / 10 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation covers the cost of three uniform sets for one child for one year.

Health Supplement

AMOUNT: Rs. 500 / $15 / 7 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation covers the cost of supplying regular health supplements for one child for one year - a healthy body leads to a healthy mind!

Text Books

AMOUNT: Rs. 500 / $15 / 10 GBP
HOW IT WORKS: Donation covers text books, notebooks, stationery and other educational materials needed for one child for one year.
